Rectified is a narrative rock opera based in a dystopian post apocalyptic future. The Earth is dying quickly, and in order to save the planet, the government enacts a law which limits the population, exterminating people for many reasons. When one of their friends is drafted and killed, the young group of friends leave the city, seeking the legendary villages that have developed off the grid. They finally make it, but a raid on the village causes the death of the two sister twins, Orianna and Sona. Now only Tiaan and Rex are left (R for short), and they run to the city to get supplies, only to see the city inhabitants drunkenly celebrating the successful raid. R gets into a brawl, and forcibly taken to the hospital. Tiaan follows closely behind, but loses him in the crowd. R is forced to get multiple tests done, and the doctor finds out he has leukemia, and quickly signs off on R being put down. Meanwhile, Tiaan is wandering the hospital, and since nobody recognizes him, they force him to take a blood test. It is found he has type O- blood, and great news: he was never put in the draft, and is free to go! Tiaan is alone, all his friends have died based on decisions he made, and now he is suicidal, but doesn't want to give in to the government. Blinded by grief, lost and alone, Tiaan stumbles around the city. What happens next?
